Dulcinea® PureHeart® Watermelon Ricotta and Kiwi Canapé

Check out these delicious bite-sized snacks featuring our PureHeart® Mini Seedless watermelons.


  • Dulcinea® PureHeart® Mini Seedless Watermelon
  • ¼ cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 ripe kiwi
  • Baby arugula


  1. Cut the watermelon in half. Using one side of the two pieces cut two 1″ slices off the watermelon. Set aside the rest of the melon. Square off each of the slices by cutting off the rind and cut the flesh into 1″ by 1 ¼″ rectangles.
  2. Peel the thin skin off the kiwis with a vegetable peeler. Dice the kiwis into ¼″ cubes.
  3. To assemble canapés, place 1 tablespoon of ricotta on top of each watermelon crostini. Next, place 1 tablespoon of diced kiwis on top and garnish with one small leaf of baby arugula. Position the canapés onto a large platter and serve as an appetizer.
