Mike Agar will be joining Dulcinea as its area manager for Eastern and Offshore Operations. Mike comes from L & M Cos. Inc., in Raleigh, N.C. where he concentrated on growing melons on the East Coast and in Central America.

Produce for Kids surpasses the $2 million milestone. Dulcinea is proud to be among the sponsors of this group which dedicates its proceeds to children's charities.

The hiring of Mike Agar as area manager for Eastern and offshore operations is in keeping with Dulcinea's push to expand its presence on the East Coast, a push that has gained significant momentum this past year.

Dulcinea is among companies recognized as contributors to its Gold Circle Campaign for Food Safety project during the 17th annual President's Invitational Reception at the 2009 Fresh Summit.
